Whether during maintenance or when replacing a photocontroller, the UM-208 ensures proper circuit closure and uninterrupted fixture operation. NEMA compliant, easy to install, waterproof and dustproof performance, can work stably in a variety of harsh environments.

Full Protection, IP66 Waterproof Rating

Request the applicable IP66 test documentation and confirm the specified receptacle, gasket and mounting conditions for the selected UM-208 assembly. Outdoor suitability depends on the complete installation and stated operating limits.

Innovative knob design for easy installation

In order to improve the user experience, UM-208 shorting cap adopts an innovative knob design, which allows users to install and remove it easily without any tools. This design not only greatly improves the installation efficiency, but also applies to a variety of complex outdoor lighting scenarios, especially in the case of time constraints or limited tools, showing its excellent convenience and operational flexibility.

UM-208 Selection FAQs

Is UM-208 a light-sensing controller?

No. UM-208 is a shorting cap used to maintain circuit conduction in a compatible photocontrol receptacle. Confirm the required circuit behaviour; it does not provide automatic dusk-to-dawn switching and is not an open-circuit cap.

What establishes the IP66 rating?

Confirm the cap, mating receptacle, gasket and installation conditions covered by the applicable test documentation. The installed accessory rating does not automatically establish the rating of the whole luminaire.

Which details require confirmation before ordering?

Confirm load, voltage, mating interface, gasket and installation requirements. The supplied UM-208 datasheet (2402V2) specifies a PC (polycarbonate) enclosure; confirm any customized material separately.

See NEMA receptacles and accessories, photocontrol product selection, and selection and installation FAQs.

Need a Quote for UM-208?

Wyślij nam swoją docelową ilość, napięcie robocze i typ gniazda.
