NEMA 3-Pin Socket (NEMA 5-15R)

It is a standard socket with two flat pins and one round ground pin and it is used in households in North America. It is not typically used for photocells because it is a general electrical device but still, it has demand varies on the size of the photocell.

NEMA 5-Pin Socket (NEMA L5-15R)

It is the socket having two hot pins and two neutral pins. There is also one ground pin and it is widely used on the industrial side and with photocells.

NEMA 7-Pin Socket (NEMA 7-15R)

The socket includes three hot pins, three ground pins one neutral pin. It is a long long-lasting device used to attach photocells with the light at the hazardous location.
